Rick, be careful of that stuff. That is what Brett Favre got hooked on. He
had to go into treatment to get off of it.
It is a brand name for Hydrocodone. That is what my surgeon prescribed for
me when I tore my Achilles off my heel. It is supposed to be for moderate
to severe pain so it's strong stuff.
I can't tell you how well it works because I didn't take it, but I would use
as little as necessary to get the relief you need and no more.
(I think ED takes it and look what happened to him.) ;-))

Subject: [Spridgets] nmc - pain relief?
Sorry for the off topic here, but I figured if anyone knew the answers
someone in this group would be the one to ask...
I'm on a beta blocker for hypertension, and was recently prescribed Tramadol
for pain in an extremity.
First I see why people call that stuff Damnitol, it's incredibly ineffective
as a pain reliever to say the least.
Well it had a pretty negative interaction with my BP meds and I spent a day
feeling very bad, right up till I vomited and started feeling better.
I told the doc all about it and he said I was right to stop taking Damnitol
and offered to call in a scrip for the pain reliever that starts with a V.
(don't want to trip over any spam filters...)
So, here's the question - and in case you are wondering - I am serious:
How many Vic. does it take to work?
The scrip says take one every 4 hours as needed, but that doesn't seem to
help.
How many at once is dangerous?
I understand if nobody wants to go on record here, email me personally if
you want.

Thanks.
