Wouldn't you love to create a page featuring your club or favorite Spridget
activity for the 2010 calendar?
Yes, I fully expect to assemble a 2010 calendar to generate a few more funds
for SCuM50, Midget 50th Anniversary -- A Spridget Celebration, or whatever
you want to call the USA Spridget gathering in 2011. For that matter, I
don't know that I will ever get out from under under this as long as we keep
having more years coming at us. Rather than continue to selfishly do all the
work myself, I thought I could share the fun with others. In the 2009
calendar, the February page was generated by Bruce Hamper (thanks Bruce!).
Would you like to create a page for the 2010 calendar? I will pay you the
same as I get paid for the whole calendar (nothing), but the undying glory
(at least for a month) will be yours.
As you may have noticed (if not, wander over to http://tinyurl.com/9jcbyk to
look at pages of the 2009 calendar), I do NOT do one artsy shot of a car per
month... too many Spridgets, not enough months. The artwork to be submitted
to Cafepress needs to be in the form of a single 8.5" x 11" landscape jpg
file at 300dpi and another similar 300dpi jpg at 11" x 17". I use MS
Publisher 2003 for this, saving the page as a jpg file. Other publishing
programs can do this as well. Or, you can make a word doc or a pdf, send it
to me along with the photos and I will take it from there.
A few more rules. No narcissism here. If your page is all about your
Spridget, it had better be a darned nice dirty Spridget. I would also like
people in the photos and some text with a few details about the cars,
people, and/or place or event. And, of course, your name. With a few
possible exceptions, the photos should be this year.
