I went to a tech session at an extremely high-end engine shop last month, 
where they recommend diesel engine oil (from Wal-Mart) for old engines.  I 
don't recall the specific ingredient, but it has some metallic additive that 
that is no longer legal in car engine oil.  Check it out.
