Mark,
If you look at your PDWA (Pressure Differential Warning Activator) like
this:
|__|_
| |
The left hand connections go to the rear brakes, and the right hand
connections (all 3) go to the front brakes. Top Left is Rear brakes from
the MC, bottom left is the line that runs to the rear axle. Top right is
the the front brakes from the MC, and the other two lines go to the left
and right front wheels.
This doesn't to any proportioning. Rather, there's a shuttle inside that
senses if there's a loss in pressure in either the front or the rear
brakes, and if so lights a light on the dash to tell you it's time to
change your undershorts!

Subject: [Spridgets] Brake Proportioning Valve Connections
Oh most learned ones,
I've been upgrading the brakes on my '62 to include not only the front
discs,
but the dual line master cylinder form the '67 on Sprites. I've got the
proportioning valve and the lines, but am unsure as to which line goes
where
on the master, and which go to the front brakes. There are 5 ports, two
of
which are larger in thread size than the rest- these two go to the
master. The
question comes from these two ports being opposed (across the piston) to
one
another. Does the proportioning valve work side to side (rather than end
to
end)? That makes no sense to me. Can anyone solve my dilemma?
