Uhh, no.  Wood can be from China or anywhere, it will penetrate.
Maybe not Heart Pine, but any standard stud that you can drive a nail
through will be perforated.
The pellets range from around 60 to over 100 grains.  Something like
110 ft lbs muzzle energy.
