Jim,
Pack some grease in the pilot (spigot) bushing, insert a dowel of 
appropriate diameter and hit the dowel with a hammer.  The "hydraulic" 
action of the grease should push out the bushing.  Usually works for 
me.  When it doesn't I thread a tap into the bushing and wiggle it out 
with that.  I'm sure there are other remedies forthcoming.
