Hi, Has anyone run into the dillema of getting the old cable-driven tach to work with an alternator setup? I hate to gut my original tach for electronic guts. I was thinking- My water pump pulley is the dual 1275 type. My thoughts are acquring an old smog pump, gutting that, and modifying it to accept the cable in the rear. There might be pulley ratio issues to deal with, I know. Has anyone tried that? Thanks, Mike Rivers 1961 MG Midget 1275 |
