One surefire solution for overheating under the poorly ventilated bugeye bonnet is to put in an aluminum radiator. Tom Colby of Speedwell makes a beauty which I've put on mine. It is modelled on the standard bugeye downflow rad and it makes a world of difference as well as looking great. Yeah, I know its not cheap, but if you're churning out over 100HP, the heat has to go somewhere. Glen |
