Considering the body appears sound there is no choice but to go for it.   As 
you so casually mentioned that you will "pull the motor", it sounds like you 
comfortable dealing with the mechanicals of the thing.  And for cryin' out 
loud, your wife WANTS you to restore it!  That alone puts you way ahead of the 
game!   And the price is right too.  You are in a perfect position.  Have fun 
with the restoration and driving it!
