My rather stock 1275 with 5speed and 3.9 diff is just fine off the
line. Wheel spin is a problem, but I think that is more of a driver
issue. Frank, is your 1275 modified such that you don't have any torque
at low RPMs? My issue with the datsun transmission is the need to wind
2nd out so far to get a decent shift to third.
