No actual Spridget experience here but... I'd stay with the 1-3/4" on something as small as a 1275. You need a -little- backpressure on a street car. Better torque through the rev range. Zero backpressure is for wide open race motors. 2" used to be the recommended max for Datsun 510 streetcars with seriously built 1600cc ohc engines. MY opinion... :-) Ed in NC |
