Glad you made it and glad you had a good
time. Sorry I could not be there to meet
you and a lot of others, personally. Maybe
in 2008 if I live that long!! :):)
Let me tell you something. In a "regulated" environment, flying as an
employee was simply great. Been to
England, Switzerland, etc., etc. all over
Europe. A lotta fun. But in the regulated
environment, I was never worried about
having a seat and getting back to work
on time.
Today, in an unregulated environment, you can never be sure of a seat.
Glad I did my non-reving travel years ago...
today...it's too much of a PITA, though
it's a nice benefit to have.
But if you gotta plan ahead to be sure of
getting back to work for sure assuming a
responsible work ethic.
