Checked out the site. The one on the racer is really
huge looking. The one on the white bugeye looks
efficient and lower profile. I can see, now, the
problems with the 180 degree bend. The reason that I
wanted it was just because they look cool. But cool
does not a squashed head prevent....so I think I will
look further for the ones that go behind both seats
and have the proper bracing. Since I have to modify
the tonneau cover to fit the porsche seats anyway, and
I don't plan on using the top/hood/roof, I might as
well go with a more durable design for the bar. What
are your thoughts on the pre-fabbed ones from VB,
Moss, etc.? Not the ones that say for appearance only
but the ones they say are race approved.
