Yes, that would be the 1.4" intakes. Of course you will need the
larger seat machined in
also. If you only do the intake valve, there should be room. I am
getting a HIF 1 3/4 inch
carb from someone on the list that already had a similar setup to this.
I'll start with his
needle, but I will have to change it probably as soon as the motor is
broken in and I can get
it dyno'ed. You may expect a real "kick
in the pants" with the setup you are building!

stock sized valves.
Also, I've already completed the basic porting as described in Vizard
(cleaned up the chamber
and reprofiled the area around the guides).
