Pointing down? It shouldn't be pointing
anywhere...if it's correctly installed.

The links holding the roll bar to the A-frames are called "sway bar
links"
(aka "drop-links...appropriately named?).

The roll bar is "flexibly" fastened to the
"frame" through 2 sway bar mounting
bushi equally distanced on the bar's
horizontal piece.

So, it it's "pointing" anywhere, it might
be said it is pointing up towards the "frame" I guess, where it is held
in place
by the sway bar bushings.
