First, you should have spent a few bucks and actually BOUGHT a Shop Manual
and some other books!! PERIOD.
Second, actually your "best" bet is to re-assemble the car completely.
Then, with tires inflated and car on level surface, take a couple of sticks
of 1/2" conduit (flatten ends) and screw into place across doors and across
cockpit. Holds just fine.
THEN "disassemble. Unibody will be held and be "rigid".
