Hey All,
It's HOT and I just finished replacing the Rotors, pads and bearings on my
Ford Van AGAIN.....
It seems that every year for he last 5 or 6 years I have replaced the rotors
on my 1994 Ford Van. It is an E150 conversion van. I have tried Ford
rotors, NAPA rotors (both cheap and the good ones), Rotors made in USA,
China, Mexico and Canada. I only get about a year out of them (sometimes
less) and they warp or crack. I don't ever wear out a set of pads and the
rotors aren't discolored from heat. (The cheap "China" rotors lasted as
long as the expensive USA rotors).
2 mechanics and one parts guy (all of which I trust) - tell me that this has
become normal due to the quality of the metal used.
Anyone out there know a good brand to use? Any Comments???
