WARNING: There are two schools of thought among orthopedic surgeons,
regarding rotator cuff surgery:
1) Those that feel that unless you earn your living throwing footballs or
baseballs, there is no need to operate on a torn rotator cuff, as it will
repair itself just fine (actually better than with surgery), given some
time.
2) Those who need a new boat, car, or other toy.
