David, if I am understanding your mis-alignment correctly, a simple way to pull
the bottom edges of the bonnet in closer to the body is to make the small angle
braces on the inside of the bonnet corners "adjustable" by drilling out the
holes
into an oblong shape. It doesnt take much adjustment at those braces to make a
big difference at the bottom edge of the fender.
Drill the holes, put the bolts in loosely, squeeze in the sides of the bonnet
and
tighten the bolts.. Some fine tuning may be required, but this worked for me.
