Nice idea but I thought they were more designed for "full race" applications
and not street cars. Actually I believe the LCB's collector tubes are side
by side as well (

A little late but... (I have no email on weekends)
Friend of mine races a Sprite with a 3-into-1 header with the collector
tubes laid out flat side-by-side. Overall thickness is less than the
diameter
of the exhaust pipe (except where it joins the exhaust pipe, of course).
No idea where he got it, but I could ask. Unfortunately(?) he's been
racing this same car for 20 years, so there's no telling how old it is or if
it's still available at all.
