Jim, Whitewalls , what a subject! I have been trying to find a set of fake whitewalls for my MGA, because I like the looks,but have not been successful, so far. As to your query, I have an original Bugeye with 7,000 original miles on it that has not been on the road since 1963 and it still has the OE tires on it which happen to be Dunlop wide whitewalls! However the photo of my Moms 59 Bugeye, taken in June of 60 shows it shod with blackwalls. |
