I was about to reinstall my generator and noticed that there is too much
play in the front (pulley end) bearing. This generator doesn't have all
that many miles one it (Lucas rebuild) so I am reluctant to buy a new one.
Is it feasible to change the bearing? Do I need special tools? Should
I let a professional handle it?
Thanks,
Ulix
'67 Sprite coming back together
I think I worked on it for 12 hours today, but there isn't all that much
visible progress. I am refinishing everything that goes back in, so
it's taking forever.
