As for the differences in oil, there are people who have had long
associations with rotary engines which swear there are differences...
but mostly in how they burn! See, the rotary pumps sump oil into the
housings for lubrication. The most common recommendation I've seen (with
apparent scientific study and explanation) is for Havoline. They said it
leaves less ash and carbon (a big turbo motor killer). I have switched
to it from Castrol for the 7, and by default for MotorToad, and have
noticed it seems to need topping off more frequently in the 'Toad than
did the Castrol. Also, it's cheap by the case from Wally-Mart.
YMMV, etcetera. Also note, it seems to me that the qualities for clean
burning may be opposite those for good lubrication.... Just change it a
lot! :)

How can they call it "drag" racing if they're not wearing skirts?
