Well I've come to find the following concerning
the pin lengths avail. that will fit.
--- = info to come
AH MG 948 / 1098cc 2.5" long
MG 1275cc 3.0" long
MG 1500cc 3.25" long
MG MGB (late) 2.75" long
...was at a local LBC parts store today...
picked up a few goodies....
while chatting with the counter guy...
he offered me up the 2.5" pin as the one I needed.
HHHmmmm.. is this a common CATALOG ERROR
(like the 1" LOWERED SPRINGS)
the books were offering up the wrong length pin
for this model year.
So now I wonder.... is this my problem to begin with?
is this what happened to the DPO? I'll have to look at it
this weekend.
thanks again all.
