Charles, The large "c" shaped valve spring compressor that is sold at all Sears tool departments works well on the 1275 cc cylinder head. Make sure that you have the head magnafluxed before you invest in the rebuilding parts and labor. I usually find cracks in 30 - 50 % of all the used BMC A-Series stock cylinder heads that we check. Pay close attention to the base of the spark plug threads and between the #2 and #3 adjacent valve seats. Good luck with your project. Gary L |
