Good evening list:
I have decided with some encouragement from Frank to proceed with a rebuild
of a 1275 head. (Engine block comes later.) First problem: Where can I
get a valve spring compression tool that will fit this size head? All of
the local parts and tool shops supply something that seems meant for a much
larger engine. J. C. Whitney doesn't indicate the size of theirs, and the
telephone clerks don't know. Is there a subtitute tool that I can use?
