who dat bugeye?

Does anyone know who owns the bugeye shown in the Mar 2000 Road &Track?  The
article toward the end of the mag is about the Calif. Melee.  I just wonder
if the owner is someone on the list.  I'd like to get in touch with them to
ask about the drive with an eye toward doing it this year before my car
looks too nice to qualify.
