I am reassembling a 948cc Bugeye engine that will be going into my Morris
Minor. I am about to install the front crankshaft pulley. I have both the
original pulley and a 1275 pulley with integral damper.
I am thinking it might be a good idea to install the 1275 damper pulley to
help dampen crankshaft resonances. I believe the 948 engine probably would
have had one if they were invented back then...
Has anyone done this? Does it sound like a good idea or a bad idea?
