Yes on the extra chrome, but I'm not sure about the wire wheels. My early Mk1 
Midget (no. 2395) has disk wheels and the same drum-brake front end as a 
bugeye. As far as I know wires were NOT an option, until disk brakes became 
available, just as they weren't on Sprites
