Barry,

If you are considering putting new rings in old bores, DON'T!  Have the
cylinders checked for taper.  If you have inside mic's, check top, center and
bottom.  Dial indicator works well.  Consult your manual for allowable cylinder
taper.  You may need to go oversized pistons and rings.  It will cost a bit
more, but you'll have an engine that performs better.

If money's a big factor at the time, at least hone the cylinders.
