My brother tells me that pcv, i.e sucking the crankcase vapours through the
combustion chambers lowers the octane of the charge burnt...I don't know how
true this is, I use my pcv, It's just that you grow up listening to your big
brother......
Neither m*ss or AH spares list pcv valves that I could find but I think
early minis had 'em so keep your eyes open for one. Theres plenty of them
over here (aust)
