Not weird, but correct.  Your computer has the time zone set to 
Pacific Time.  It should be EST.  This is found in the 
Time/Date icon located 'Start Menu/Control Panel' menu item.
Set the time zone to point to -0500 instead of -0800.  This 
will fix the problem.
