I'm in the midst of replacing the front crank seal on my 1275. I have gotten the radiator out, jacked up the engine a couple of inches, and gotten the big bolt out of the pulley/crank. Now, I can't get the pulley off! Gear pullers won't fit because the cross-member is in the way. Can I just pry the heck out of the back of the pulley and the face of the timing chain cover, or will this damage the t/cover? TIA, Jeff Jeff Boatright __o_\__ '65 Austin-Healey Sprite http://userwww.service.emory.edu/~jboatri/sprite/sprite.html |
