I'd say try to pin point the leak.
It should be obvious, after removal of the brake drum, if the leak is coming
from the rear (wheel bearing) seal. If it's dry back there, then just do the
gasket and *new* o-ring
and keep your fingers crossed. If it still leaks, well ....
you know what you have to do.
