Thanks all for the encouragement. Never thought about obliterating that
shock frame ID with paint. Looks like we have some dry weather coming up
this week so I can start in earnest.
Ulix, how's that rebuild coming?
Yer right, here in Woodinville not only is there no emissions check, but I
can outrun most of the horsedrawn carriages. ;)

When I moved to WA state, in order to register my car here, I had to have
it inspected by the State Patrol. At the time, I didn't know about the
number on the shock tower, so I only showed them the screwed on tag. They
thought it was strange and looked around the engine compartment, but
accepted it.
Tim, do they even check emissions in Woodinville?
