On top of what everyone else has stated my '59 sprite sat in a garage
for 23 years and the engine turned over easily, but upon it getting it
started it broke a ring in #1 cylinder and gouged the wall necessitating
a .060 overbore to clean up. Brakes and clutch Hydraulics all around all
new fuel lines and brake hoses. Pretty much every piece of rubber on the
car had to be replaced. Maybe with heated storage the hydraulics and
engine may have stayed dry but pretty much count on all rubber being
ready to fall apart.
