To check the water pump bearing for close-ity (SIC!) to failure, grab the fan and wiggle it side to side (with the engine off, of course). If the shaft moves appreciably, the water pump is on its way out. chuck -- ===================================================== chuck ciaffone chuckc@ibm.net |
