I believe that Dave is talking about the push rod from
the throwout bearing housing thingy (see, I'm good with
terminology too ;-) ) that inserts into the open end of
the clutch slave cylinder.  I seem to remember there being
a fair amount of slop there, but I don't know if that's
worrisome or not.  It wasn't to me.

I'm wondering if the pivot pin for the TO bearing housing
has sheered...
