Just from personal experience, the Fiat 131 I owned from new in the late 70's 
was great!  The only problem that I encountered was due to dealer error(s).  
Very comfortable, quick, & happily carried me over a 4 state area for my 
business.  You haven't lived until you've pulled off of the main highway in 
Eastern Kentucky to find something as simple as wiper blades while driving a 
Fiat!  Just my .02 worth.
