Front tire wear

Fellow Listers:
    I'm getting severe wear on the outside edge of the drivers side front
tire. I've replaced all bushings with poly. The shocks are shot and need
replaced but I don't think it would contribute to the problem that much. The
trunnions are in good shape,bearings are too. It appears (that looking down
on the tires) that the top of the tire is farther out than the bottom.
There's no *excessive* play anywhere. Where do I go from here?
