Hi Dave
For a blanking plate get a gasket and a piece of 10swg  (3mm) steel plate
and cut this to the shape of the gasket drill 2 holes 21/64" (clearance for
5/16" bolts) in the plate apply some paint to the outside and some sealer to
both sides of the gasket and bolt on with suitable length bolts (measure how
much sticks through the pump body and find some that stick through the plate
by the same amount, or take a hacksaw to the original bolts).
