I know how you all feel about the changing seasons and how nice it can be. I
am from Oregon and know all about it. If I miss anything about the mainland
that is what it would have to be. But when I look at my hobbies (LBC,
Sailing, Hiking, Windsurfing, etc) it all requires nice outdoor weather. And,
there is no shortage of it in Hawaii. I have been here for a year and have
two years left on my tour here and I plan on enjoying every minute of it.
After all, I could be stationed someplace like Iceland next and I don't think
it has much of an LBC season.
