If the outside sensor is reporting too low a temperature (or if the EATC is
sensing too low a temperature), the EATC will not try to engage the A/C to cool
the car. Shorting around the low pressure switch will not work because there
will no be any voltage on the line. The only A/C operation will be intermittant
cycling in defrost mode (tried that setting yet?) Since you've already swapped
in a known good ambient sensor, the next step would be to swap out the EATC.
