If part of the stud is sticking out, hit it with a hammer. It will pop out
the back. Take the new one and insert it in. It has a flat spot on the head
that goes towards the hub. Mount the wheel and torque the stud to spec.
Drive around. Torque again. Keep checking torque for a week or until it
stops needing tightening, whichever is longer.

My SHO has a broken front wheel stud. I do not want to deal with all of the
steps and time of taking off a front hub/bearing/etc. and taking it in for a
new lug to be hydraulically pressed in.
I have a new lug bolt ready to go in. Is there a special tool, please, that
I can use to install this lug with the hub still on the car?
