What type of tires do you have on the SHO and how old
are they? Tires have a lot to do with stopping
distances and feel. I'd also consider bleeding the
brakes to make sure the fluid is clear. New pads and
rotors probably won't create any discernible feel in
braking as you are dealing with some of the worst
brakes to ever appear on a car. There are many brake
upgrades available for this car but at a minummum
you'd need the newer 16" SHO wheels or just run 17's
for many more options.
