I know what you mean about the difference in new vs old metal. Leaving
school one day my senior year I had a girl rear end my truck doing about
30mph-her saturn slid right under my truck. Messed up her hood, headlights,
bumper and even her radiator. I had a small paint scratch on my bumper.
Problem with a lot of kids around my age is that with all the techno cr@# on
todays cars they don't know the limitations of their ability or the car. I
drive fast (used to drive faster), but I know the vehicle I'm in and how
fast I can go at that given time and place.
God bless straight axles and heavy steel.
