[oletrucks] motor and tranny

I found a 57 or 58 GMC ...12volt half ton..body is in bad shape...but the
owner tells me that
the 40,000 mile thats shows on the dash is original...Could some out there
tell me what I should
give him for this truck..All the windows are good, interior doesn't look to
bad..fenders and door
and floor (poor condition)...
