With a small block and a th-350 tranny, in drive, what do you guys figure is a comfortable engine RPM at about 70 mph? Trying to figure what a good rearend ratio would need to be with 29" tires. Randy's rearends recomend 1800-2800 rpm's at 60 mph. A 3.44 would give me 2455 RPM @ 60 mph and 2865 RPM @ 70 mph. Are these "comfortable" RPM ranges? oletrucks is devoted to Chevy and GM trucks built between 1941 and 1959 |
