Thanks Grant,
I'm glad to know that that is the nature of Hammerite. I am doing my
painting indoors. After several coats, it seems to be alright. I applied 4
coats of Hammerite, now I'm covering with a chrome finish. While I had my
front running lights out, I decided to refurbish the lens retainers.
