I was waiting to see if any of the super NAPCO cognizant crew would answer
this, but I'll put my 2 cents in. . .
I know that the TF trucks were available as 1/2 ton NAPCO's as my brother
Brian has one (1957, of course). It's my understanding that the AD 1/2 ton
didn't get NAPCO h/w till they went to open driveline. . .1954 (?) or 1955
1st series for sure.

1/2 ton). Indeed, the frame rails on a 3/4 ton are more narrow than a 1/2
ton at the rear. On a 1/2 ton the frame rails spread out from front to
back while on a 3/4 ton they are pretty much parallel. I was looking into
a Mustang II front suspension for my 3/4 ton and was told by RB's Obsolete
that their kit (for a 1/2 ton) did not fit a 3/4 ton, but Fat Man
Fabrications sayed that their kit would also fit a 3/4 ton indicating that
the front is fairly similar on both models.
